FC 24: The ultimate edition sold over 6.8 million

According to the Financial Times, EA announced that EA Sports FC 24 sold 6.8 million copies during Early Access, which is 35% higher than during Championship Early Access. Since the game was so popular, with a 10-hour trial available to EA Play subscribers, it was quickly concluded that it was acquiring more players than it could sell before its global release.
EA Sports FC 24 debuted at the top of the UK retail charts last week. Although it outsold FUT 23, it still ranked second in physical sales in the region in 2023, behind Legend of the Ring: Tears of the Realm.
